It’s been disappointing watching some surrogates of Sanders seemingly focus much of their energy on dogwhistling a narrative that Warren is “Hillary 2.0.”

She should end her campaign to really focus on her role in her Senate Committees.
I wish only the best for Bernie. I have so much love and respect for this man.
There was also the attempted coup against FDR by antisemitic, anti-black, fascist business leaders and some military leaders. It’s sometimes referred to as “The Business Coup” or “The Wallstreet Putsch”, and is often cited as a foundational moment for the modern far-right in America.
Yea, I smell a change in the air. This is pure speculation, but I also am getting a sense that “electability” voters are starting to realize that Biden is the real “Clinton 2.0" with a lot of the same vulnerabilities. And “electability” is the #1 consideration for something like 90% of black voters over 40.
Who are they going to shoot? It’s a divide between city folk’s and country folks with the suburbs in the middle . It’s that way in every State , both blue and red
He’s not wrong about automation. He’s also not entirely wrong about how Trump got elected. Trump is a fascist, and one of the ways fascists gain support is by using economic problems to fuel racism and sectarian resentments. (fascism is not a political ideology, it is a social disease that kills vibrant democracies…
The double standard is unbelievable. I guess that’s what white privilege looks like.
Medicare for all, Medicaid for all?.. Either fucking way and I’ll be happy.
I’m not a “neo liberal”.
I’ve pointed this out in a couple other posts, but Quinnipiac’s polls show that over the last three months Biden’s support among black voters has dropped from 53% to 40% while Warren has jumped from 3% to 19%.
Quinnipiac actually has her surging among black voters. Two months ago they had her at 3%, last month it was 8% and in the poll they released this week her support was at 19%. They also have Biden dropping from 53% to 40% among black voters.
Whether it’s Warren or Bernie that drops out first, they should both be avoiding attacks on one another. Let the centrist and fake progressive candidates destroy one another. Leaving a choice between Warren and Bernie is about as good as progressives can hope for.
Yes, Zuck. Join in with that anonymous “WallStreet Democrat” to criticize Warren in a way that will absolutely backfire on you and energize her supporters.
That’s not to say that economic justice is not a worthy and substantially important endeavor. But it won’t fix racial hatred and violence.
A movement may be large, but how many are actually willing to go to war?
In the latest Quinnipiac poll, buried with some other interesting nuggets, 55% of likely voters say they will “definitely not” vote for Donald Trump in the general election. That number has not dropped below 52%. Among 538's “A+” rated polls, Trump is currently stuck under 44% against all the top 4 Dems who are…
If I had to guess, they probably thought that if they denied them those instructions, then the defense would use that as grounds to appeal.
Sadly, I’m inclined to agree. If, and that’s a big if, Trump actually does vacate office voluntarily, I see insurrection by white supremacists and christian right who believe that they are defending their white jesus. Unfortunately they are heavily armed, believe that they are doing “God’s will” and are willing to…
Words mean things.
