I still wreck when I play Bastion. Shameless plug (50 and 0 game with Bastion):

I only play bastion and I get a lot of hate from people for no reason other than i’m playing Bastion. On attack or king of the hill, I’m consistantly getting golds on kills, objective kills, and damage and I still get shit when the rest of the team isn’t pulling their weight -_- It’s like the only possible reason for

I apologize since I mistakenly thought we were talking about prison population.

It’s weird how you just posted a link with nothing but anecdotes and theorizing that in no way whatsoever rebutted anything I just said as though it was a rebuttal to what I just said. Here, maybe these will help you out:

Surely the Bastion hate is a little tired by now right? Because surely people know how to play Overwatch by now right? I mean I guess it’s still funny. (But you guys don’t really get wrecked by Bastion still right?)

....the fact that the vast majority of private for-profit prisons (and the vast majority of prisoners, period) exist in red states?

Just Federal. No laws or regulations have been changed. The Federal government simply isn’t renewing the contracts they have with private prisons.

Sadly, it won’t change a damn thing when it comes to the majority of private prisons, which are run by state governments. And nothing in this article indicates that the federal government plans to end immigration detention centers which are run by private companies either.

The fact that companies are in the business of imprisoning people and generating enough profit to be traded publicly on the stock market is disgusting. Corrections should not be a for profit business venture, ever.

I know, I didn’t think I’d live to see it. I thought this was just another stepping stone on our way to an American dystopia.

It’s about fucking time. Private prisons are run on profits. They have a lobbying group that wants marijuana kept legal and classed higher than pain pills. Fuck these assholes.

Go back to troll school.

I don’t like religions that tell women they have to dress a certain way to be appropriately modest, or that otherwise treats parts of the female body as especially evil. I also think religious freedom is important, and women are free to choose whether they want to believe in a religion that calls on them to dress

Some of us are advanced enough to tolerate a little bit of cognitive dissonance. Sometimes you have to defend the rights of people who wouldn’t defend your rights if the roles were reversed. It’s not always a comfortable place to be, but it’s the right place to be.

mmm mmm yes so true

the thing is - the diversity, it’s the same in many places in France. I live in the suburbs of paris for example and many, many of the women in my neighborhood wear a veil.

Oh :( Look at you. You have two comments ever, one trying to make an idiotic argument, and one preemptively shitting on feminists for that same argument.

This is not about protecting Muslim women. It’s not about Muslim women at all. It’s about blowing that dog-whistle, and this is one that progressives and white nationalists alike can hear.

Except IT’S NOT ABOUT HYGIENE!

So they are basically calling out misoginy in Islamic countries that tell women how much they have to wear while imposing legislature telling women how little they have to wear? Splendid. This will certainly solve everything.
