I at least give Johnson credit for having been a governor and having a chance of getting an electoral vote or two (slim chance but it’s still there, and unlike Stein I can see him managing to get more than 5% of the vote). I disagree with many of his stances but is candidacy feels overall more serious than Stein’s. I

I’m not saying CA is weirder than FL (seriously how did you read it like that?). I’m saying the guy is in a strong liberal bubble due to being in a very liberal part of a very liberal state. A lot of people I have met here take progressivism seriously for granted and are stunned that large swaths of the nation might

I heard there’s a chance of getting it up to 47 but even then...that ain’t all of ‘em. I mean if the freaking libertarians can handle that kind of bureaucracy...

Yep. Hell her supporters are damn good at doublethink too. One I know was complaining we weren’t going to get real progressivism from Hillary (fair enough, he’s from very liberal part of CA, his idea of progress differs from this FL gal’s in that he doesn’t know how radical it seems to the rest of the nation), though

It’s really good and honestly given how much my generation was raised on TV I think it’s important for how it simultaneously calls out overly-romantic/idealized notions of life you might have from basing things off sitcoms and other fiction (my fav line is “when you wear rose colored glasses, all the little red flags

He’s already been declared easily-meme-able by tumblr. And it seems to be in a complementary way.

Very interesting read, thanks for sharing!

I was rolling my eyes so hard when I saw a comment elsewhere that declared people who vote for Hillary are either “heartless monsters” or “low information voters” which was immediately clarified by the poster as meaning “women and African Americans” because I know how many people hold sentiments like this one. “Oh,

Some of the comments I’ve seen on other sites have been weirdly entitled. One outright told her to “just get a nanny” so she’d be on more nights a week.

    It’s on youtube for free~

I’m asexual so this is a hard question. Which answer is equivalent to “would hug for a long time and then watch Guardians of the Galaxy With?”

That was really good, thanks for sharing.

Seriously, Warren is getting slammed with right wing memes from the left now. It’s insane.

This sounds like a good sitcom. We should make it.

That is one of the defining issues of this fight over the DNC. A lot of Dems feel Bernie just used the party to ensure he got attention he wouldn’t have gotten in an independent run, it’s cropped up on a lot of comment sections. Others feel it’s a real progressive coming in and bringing the party back where it should

They do not in many places.

Yeah. Remember how fast they turned on Warren?

“Disown Bernie to Support Bernie” is just a weirder name than “Bernie or Bust” though...

    I mean...so he’s really voting for Pence?

    We’re tragically good at it.
