Given how much he’s stayed out of the public eye I think he knows he screwed up quite a lot of things. That’s more than you can say for a lot of his party right now.

Especially because even some of critics who didn’t like it noted that while they didn’t see it as good, they didn’t see it as out and out awful enough to warrant the backlash they’ve been seeing surround the film.
