Well it's good job that only about 1% of his novel is in the film.
There's simply no question as to whether Deckard is a replicant.
He didn't on the first movie - he was dead before it was finished.
The movie is more than explicit that Deckard is a replicant, there are so many "clues" it's obvious early on.
I'm still assuming this is what they're doing - Deckard would be dead months after the first film anyway - if it's years past we're going to get a completely different set of characters that just happen to be in the same world.
Have you seen it on BluRay?
Most of what was written before Fancher did the final pass was thrown out.
In the film, he is - it's Scott's vision, he can say whatever he wants about it.
Clearly you're not aware of the British prison system.
Hey, how about these senators look into changing the tax they pay so it's in line with what us poor people pay.
Really?
Heh oddly enough, an app I wrote two weeks ago had a "save/export" function in it to generate CSVs from the system...I used a 5 3/4 inch disc as the icon for all the exports.
"Former Pentagon senior policy analyst F. Michael Maloof claims that Israel is using the same ultra-secret stealth H-60 Blackhawk helicopter that US Special Forces used to hunt down bin Laden. How is this possible?"
It's a great movie considering it's essentially two people in a room for most of the duration the actors really manage to pull it off, (excuse the pun).
That's just lazy, pure and simple.
Oh we still have those in this country - you get the occasional, "Why is the NHS paying for boob jobs and plastic surgery - ban it now!!"
One and the same really - it's a distinction many charities are trying to make: if you have to have a bottle of wine every day, it's not that different to the person who goes through several; it's still not good for you and you're still dependant on it.
OK you clearly didn't grow up in the 80's if you've not seen Flight of the Navigator.
Yeah, that was the point I was making.
