@FranksWasHere: I agree, people who narrowly grab a few stars from the NYT are obviously not concerned with the Michelin system. It's also a safe bet, Per Se received four stars from the NYT based alone on the fact that it's a 3 started Michelin ranked restaurant.
@matt buchanan: Thomas would prefer the ranking system that has given true acclaim to his work - that would be the Michelin star system, which only goes up to 3. This system means a tad bit more than some NY Times critics.
@matt buchanan: NY Times is neither a chef nor a restaurant.. I'm not sure I follow?
