Thank You. There was a lot of work gone into making the MKZ unique from the Fusion. Notice, it doesn't use any of the Fusion's top hat. The only common parts are under the skin, there is 0% of the surface parts shared between them.

Unfortunately it won't fit. The Mondeo chassis it's based off of was never designed for anything bigger than a Volvo T5 (which would be awesome in the this car IMO, but Ford pretty much severed ties with Volvo after Geely).
