Unfortunately, they said they are going to put it into their normal fleet, but after it's used it might go into their company archives or be used for training according to the article on Autoblog.

The ironic (and kind of sad) thing is the last Ranger is already sold to the Orkin Extermination Company.

I actually saw one of those for sale in a used car lot one time and almost got into an accident because I stared at it for so long, not believing my eyes! LOL. It's like the Sasquatch of Jaaaags.

Yea, but it's not quite the same.

They did and it unfortunately only lasted a year or two using cars that laid the groundwork for the BOSS Mustang with the FR500. It was called the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge.

I was thinking the next WRX/STi would get the turbo FA20 as well if it indeed will be on a unique chassis. It's the only logical choice to me, buy you and the others are right, stretching that chassis might not be the best idea and making another new chassis would be even more cost prohibitive. Yes! My quote in #3! :) Thanks!

Also having only 4 short gears prob doesn't help top speed I would suspect?

That popped up a red flag in my head too. It must spend a lot of the 1/4 at top speed LOL.

Yea, I was just going to post that one too. Def one of the most memorable car commercials.

the Top Gear episode with that van vs the Aussies in their Maloo was on the other night and it was awesome!

Now playing

Mike Ryan's Hillclimb Freightliner. Notice he's driving with cowboy boots on making it more bad a$$. That's like the redneck equivalent of when Senna beat the snot out of an NSX in loafers.

Nice! I paid $65 but that's because I reserved it and got it on it's debut day since I'm a rally fiend hehe.

Hmmm, I have an HTC ThunderBolt and figure it probably runs similarly to the EVO 4G, dang it!

I thought you were going to give him a Dos Equis ;)

Well, Monster's Escudo is still in GT4, but IIRC you can't use it in any career mode rally races except in free races. I just drive his SX4 in DiRT3 :)

Sounds like you need to buy DiRT3 to take care of those rally urges. I love driving Monster Tajima's SX4 in that game and the handling is pretty realistic, not as arcady as previous versions were.

I def prefer the first blue livery (2nd pic) Block put on his MKII for Rally NY before doing the white wrap for his Gymkhana comp when VG JR drove it.

Which is essentially GM and Ford, we just mainly have Chevy vs Ford here in the states.

yea, it better be. Not even just Camaro vs Mustang, but Ford vs Chevy will go on forever.
