Stockholm Syndrome is a thing that does not really exist’

Ah, yes, getting triggered at a term’s origin as if it bears weight on it’s meaning years down the line once it’s been forgotten my most. Twitter calls.

Stockholm syndrome coming in hot.

And yet, you understood me. Language truly is transcendental.

This is extremely sad. Adults cloying for children’s meals just to get the children’s toys. You do you, like, but it’s sad.

I’ve always been a massive fan of the Original FFXII Guide Book. That book was beautifully put together interspersed with absolutely drop-dead gorgeous art on nearly every page. I’ve spent hours pouring over that book.

In the event a game doesn’t have a length, do you add subjectivity back in to get relative worth? Take Rimworld. A game I have 604.2 hours in. It has 1 dev, and I bought it at £20 (£18.something, I think, but I’ll round). The game gets a 30.21 for my subjective score.

I came into this going ‘I mean, it’s literally just a dog head on a person, stop whining’ and then looked at the ArtStation and thought ‘yeah ok maybe nah, I was wrong’. From the scarf design, to the patch location on the bicep, to the style of elbow pad, to the rest of the fucking image. Mental. lol

Sad to see. I was looking into halo APIs the other month, and 343 actually do have their own portal for a Halo API (link after this para because Kotaku comments break my shit) replete with documentation. For the last month or two the sign-in portal, even with a Microsoft Developer account, just bounced straight back

If it’s still requiring of reports and the like for any action to be taken, doesn’t Discord give you a similar level of control? You can still mute people/change channels/etc. and control what people you communicate with. It’s just without that person getting a ban from the platform by the leading party. That said,

Discord’s voice chat is notoriously laden with verbal abuse

That algorithm hustle.

Ah yes, exactly what I expect when I come to read game news. An American poking fun at my government. Can we get a warning that political garbage will be mixed into the game news, please?

I would give up anything to make that wish come true: my current place as a game designer, which I’ve built up for forty-five years; I’m even prepared to throw away my family or my own life. That is how powerfully I—or rather we—yearn for the cosmos.

Anyone reading this that doesn’t understand just how bad the reliance is, as K7 pointed out:

For enough Asmodium bars (22) to make ONE chest piece (which is the finale in crafting tiers) it takes 1320 iron ore. From each iron node you farm, you get between 15 and 35 ore (iirc). If we take it 35 ore is what you get

I pumped just under two hundred hours into the game in the opening two weeks. I have a full-time job. For that period of time, I had two. One of them was heavier than two full-time jobs rolled into one. I went to bed at 3AM and awoke at 7AM to avoid server wait times in EU.

Same as England having it. Corporations like making money, and faking sales by inflating regular prices is a shady practice the American’s enjoy much benefit from, so why shouldn’t we, right?

Do we know for a fact how much of this is true? Like, who in NK is ousting NK? Seems like if the stories are to be believed, then NK cares about image and this is the sort of thing that damages exactly that.
