I suppose it’s all about rankings and such, but if he actually showed up I don’t see why he doesn’t just try his best with what he has at his disposal. Could still do pretty well and walk away with a bit o’ cash.

Smash is fun, but the controller thing is crazy. Pros know that only 1%-3% of controllers are viable, yet people will aruge about the “fairness” of the Smash Box controller.
If you’re intentionally depending on hardware that isn’t actually working correctly in order to play, that’s when it’s time for the game to die. It’s too damn old and just finding TV monitors to play on is getting more difficult. The game has passed its time.
Let’s break down the 3DS’ SKUs:
Maybe.
It’s not like he’s going to be a pro gamer until he’s 30. He’ll do this for 2 or 3, maybe 4 years, then head off to college at 20 or 21 with cash in the bank. He’ll graduate in game design at 24 and he’ll enter the work force with tremendous real-world skills and be able to quickly land a job.
Good for him. I know he’ll get a lot of hate, but, college, and a normal career will always be there. He went for exactly what he wanted to do, and hopefully has a good run at it. I can never hate on someone for following their dream.
Hopefully everyone understands that this is the exception and not the rule.
What the hell does Christian have to do with the KKK? Absolutely nothing.
It’s not the same team is it? I mean it’s still Capcom but I doubt one single team exists - see Mass Effect and how Andromeda was NOT made by the same Bioware team as the first three games.
Theyve lost a lot of good will from the gaming community, so good on them for trying harder. Too bad they didn’t do this for sfv.
Based on the lack of mention, I assume that Samsung has failed to bring back the IR blaster from the S5 and S6...?
So.. it’s generally shit except the screen is pretty?
Thank you for providing the REAL reason in the comments ;)
I don’t know if it will really resonate with today’s youth since you have Google at your fingertips. One of the reasons why the game was so popular is that it required sleuthing (bust out the encyclopedias and atlas) and deductive reasoning to determine where to go next. Now, you could just type in the questions, or…
Or even had the opportunity to play on the computer at school, something that was way out of the reach at home for most kids in the late 80's and 90's.
Same reason Oregon Trail was so beloved. It’s the first time many kids remembering having fun learning Geography/History.
There needs to be a new game, a more modern “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” for today’s children.
Echoing this. If you were lucky enough to get a computer lab day and that game could count for a geography lesson, it was a good day!
You forgot the most important reason why people love Carmen Sandiego. It was a game that was actually fun that we were allowed, nay, ENCOURAGED to play at school.
