How’s this for patriarchal naming conventions? I’m first Indian and it’s very common practice for the woman to take not only the husbands last name but his first name as well upon marriage. So, my dads first name became my moms middle name and his last name became her new last name. And then all the kids get dads

You do all the laundry and the majority of the cooking because it makes sense for your life? Is it because it's too exhausting to convince your other half that you're not free live in help and that he has to comtribute ?

My mom was always picking on my hairstyle and clothing choices when I was in middle school/high school.
