John Mellencamp has always been pretty marginalized, but "Jack and Diane" is a truly great song.

I grew up in the same town as Mellencamp (Seymour, Indiana), and the Tastee Freeze is really Koverer's Korner. It's an ice cream shop. They don't see chili dogs.

P&R hasn't gotten into late-era Office territory, but I certainly can't say that it's gone out on top. They've made Leslie increasingly unbearable. Ron went from grumpy libertarian to tin-foil hat-wearing lunatic.

Regardless of how much each character contributed, he's still an unusual amount of change.

Fancy seeing you here.

When I was in middle school, there was a guy in our town named Richard Batman. He called him every weekend. Some punk-ass teens just want to watch the world burn.

"Coward" would hardly be one of the first words that I'd use to describe Bob or Morgan. As for Tyreese, we've seen him still plenty of walkers, but the combined deaths of Karen, Lizzie and Mika have damaged him.

I interviewed Mark Kozelek a few years ago. He couldn't have been less interested. I am (or at least was) a fan of both Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon, so I asked fairly informed and sincere questions. Two-word generic answers. No interest in talking. A real asshole.

Pharrell doesn't know what it's like to the bad man, to be the sad man.

Tyler Durden. If one more person asks me what the first rule of Fight Club is, I'm going to shoot him through the jaw.

That's really interesting. It's a good point about showing a 360 view of people with mental illness.

Anything with a Tom Waits cameo gets automatic bonus points.

I rewatched this a week ago and was surprisingly disappointed. The performances are terrific, and Robin Williams is truly amazing.

"The Stand" miniseries aired when I was 13, and I loved it. Therefore, I was really excited about "The Langoliers". My pubescent heart was quickly filled with confusion and disappointment.

Baby, can you dig your man?

I used to a work for a speakers bureau, and we had the riders for a lot of famous folks who do speaking engagements.

"Positive Jam" by The Hold Steady serves as an intro the band. Fittingly, it's also the opening track on their debut album.

How did I miss that Future Islands performance on Letterman?! That's the most amazing, inspired performance. I'm all in.

LOVED Driver Eight. T&N had a lot of those one and done artists.
