Their loss for not having access? That's pretty petty.
Their loss for not having access? That's pretty petty.
But my point wasn't that everyone was using a smart phone or a cricket bat, it's that only the one person was. What if not every kid in the class has access to a smart phone? So a small group that does have such a tool should be allowed to use it? The point of any type of competition is to ensure that all people…
My solution? I don't play crappy online games. And by crappy, I mean ALL of them.
That's like taking your smartphone into a exam and saying, "I'm just using different hardware. Instead of using my brain, I'm using the phone. That's not cheating, right?" Or if you play baseball, but use a cricket bat instead, that's considered cheating. You have to use the tools you're given. Anything extra is…
I didn't buy Okami because I didn't own a PS2. So :P. If they released it on PS3, I'd be buying it on day one. I've always wanted to play that game.
I've always thought that nearly any argument against video games was kind of redundant (from a male or female perspective). Why? Because video games are fiction. We make them interesting to attract people to play them. From this article, and from the previous arguments against the portrayal of women, it sounds to me…
Hahahaha. YES. More people need to admit it when they're stuff sucks. It kind of makes them human. Makes them "agreeable."
That's too bad. It really is (no sarcasm there, I promise). I hadn't realize other people were having so much trouble with it. I'm sorry you haven't been able to enjoy it as much as you should have. But will your woes stop me from buying future consistent online games? Probably not. Do I understand why you won't? I do…
Does this mean I'll finally get my wish? A Star Wars movie NOT handled by Lucas? Look at the two greatest SW films ever (Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi)... Both NOT handled by George Lucas. Sure, A New Hope was okay, but no one ever says it was the best one. Then we got Episodes I, II, and III, ALL done by…
How is it screwing legitimate customers? I've played Diablo III for over 80 hours now. I've loved the heck out of that game. Do I feel screwed because I have to play online? Nope, not even a little. Sure, there are probably people out there with either a shitty internet connection or none at all, but all I can do is…
That's too bad. I guess I'll be putting up with a day or two of inconvenience and then proceed to enjoying the game for the rest of its existence and you won't. Shucks.
Yup, Hank sure can be a jerk, can't he? But I think over the years, that whole issue's been stuffed in the closet, hasn't it?
If that's all it was, I'd of stopped playing ages ago. I love the characters, the immersion, the game play, the strategy, the plot twists, and everything else that a game is. To speed through the game like that is just stripping everything else away. Video games is not JUST clicking on imaginary monsters, but that's…
Five hours to beat the game? Did you even stop to enjoy it? What the hell was the point of that? Congratulations, you just clicked on imaginary monsters for five hours. If you're not invested in the story, in exploring the world, in submersing yourself in the lore, then what's the point?
It's funny how I'm the exact polar opposite of you. I'm with BigJG on that Reality is complete garbage. I have yet to find a single one that I can watch for more than five minutes.
Timecop beat out The Butterfly Effect? Hmmm... Not in my books.
I've always hated how I can be looking through the list of games, then I click one for more details, and then when click back, it takes me all the way back to the first game. Then I have to clock "Next 10" a bunch of times to get back to where I was.
I was going to retort to this story, but after reading this response, I don't need to. When I first read the original post, I couldn't help but think, "Does this person have no pride?" And then I thought about Civil War story arc, when when the government wanted a registration act put in place, when they wanted to…
I agree. I played Amalur into the ground (50+ hours) and conquered all the of the DLC as well. I'd gladly buy the sequel if it was managed into existence. I'm a little sad now that I've realized that'll probably never happen.
I love how varied the poll results are. Sure, Monk holds the majority (my choice as well), but not by much. It's nice to a see a fairly even spread.
