Hey, that was a fun movie. I never understood the hate-on for it.

The original series had tribbles, Abe Lincoln in space, shirtless screaming Sulu, the priceless banter between Spock and McCoy, Chekov’s running assertion that Russians invented everything, and moments like this:

They were serious... but you had great moments of levity between the cast. The small scenes of Bones and Spock teasing each other and Chekov claiming Russians invented everything.

No, it’s kind of how the show mostly was back in the day. I’m excited for this. It gets past the whole companion-as-flirtatious-love-interest thing RTD did.

I’ve been using Mr. Number for years.  It works on any Android phone and does basically the same thing.  There are a number of other similar options as well if you don’t like Mr. Number.

I’ve changed my default text editor to Visual Studio Code. It has Code in the name, but it really is one of the best text editors out there (and it’s free). Add in some of the various extensions and it’s great.
