If a front heavy car is backed on to the trailer then bad things will happen, especially if a giant person pokes at the trailer.

The cop car is always parked to shield the COP in the event someone gets too close. The idea is that they will see and avoid the cop car but maybe not the officer on foot. This is why the cop car is staggered out.

Would you really want your body to be the left-most object in the breakdown lane? Cops park their cars so far over because even human drivers are pretty bad at not hitting them.

To me the problem is the gatekeeping. If someone really feels that the union is necessary and will help then they can join, but this idea that it needs to be forced in a given workplace shows how useless some of them have become. If you’re having to force people to join to work somewhere then there’s something wrong.

That, and they already accomplished their legitimate missions. 40 hour work week, paid sick leave, working conditions that don’t result in immediate death, etc. Most of what the union bought you is now law, you get it whether you’re unionized or not.

The best argument against unions are the Teamsters, UAW will always take the silver medal despite its continual attempt at gold!

I don’t get the style of answer where the ‘overrated’ is based on how cars 50 years later are better.
