I, of course, am far from an expert.

It completely depends on where you live. I live in a wealthy town with lots of high tech work. It’s around 500k people in the area. Nearest Bus Stop is about 90 miles away. Nearest subway is a around 200 miles away. So, mass transit isn’t an option here.
I am fully in favor of public transportation... for other people.
Yes, they are apparently trying to defeat our ad blockers. I will install more ad blockers.
Is anyone else getting a huge white void at the top of the page or have I just been Kinja’d again?
In this case is more a “welcome to Brazil”. The most common thing here is a civil engineering company design a building structure and after the building is done or during the construction some rich asshole (most of the times with political connections or rich enough to be above the law) decides he wants a pool or…
Nah, it’s Brazil man! This is par for the course! It lasted WAY longer than it should have too. Just looking at the floor of that pool you can tell it’s no where near thick enough nor does it contain any support steel. Think of the last time you were in a parking garage and felt the different plates move as cars…
This is why I don’t like carpooling.
Holy smokes! What the hell did he think was happening?! Even with the guy getting out and checking, how did they not figure this out?!
Wet Ass Peugeot.
Wow, that’s an even worse thing to happen to a parking garage than a U-Haul.
No, but I thought government regulation was just pointless oppression and if we got rid of it all we’d all be so much happier...
It’s like that, man. One second you’re chilling in a rooftop pool, the next you’re underwater in your Volkswagen.
The dealer network is very useful. For one its the main point for warranty and repair. Go ahead and ask Tesla owners how repairs and warranty work goes. Its not good. Not to mention in the buying process its nice to see a myriad of options in the sheet metal. You wont get that direct to consumer. Plus existing dealers…
Do you go directly to the manufacturer of everything you consume on a daily basis, or do you buy them from retailers, online or brick-and-mortar?
“they are often willing to wait more than a week and pay full price to get their desired vehicle”
“I am annoyed that even a global pandemic has not ended the dealership model entirely.”
