As someone who programs AI systems, I do find this funny. We’re getting extremely good with image processing, and it’s actually amazing how far we have come in the past five years. (I admittedly don’t work in image processing, but I know people who do, so I’ll say they’re very smart people and just leave it at that.)

Only one is a professional wrestler?

Not really. It depends on the car more than the engine type. For example, the V6 Camry and Accord 2.0T get equal gas mileage. Though the Accord makes 50 horsepower less than the Camry, and has 2 more gears in the transmission.

Audi’s TT 2.7 & 2.9,

It doesn’t want to be cool?  Since it’s inherently balanced, I think the I6 wouldn’t care what you think about it.

Oh, absolutely. I have done this before.

“Well, since your obviously dumbass insured caused this, and it’s your job to make me whole again, the cost to settle will be $X”

Important to remember, you NEVER have to accept the first offer the insurance company gives you.  It is exactly that, an offer.  You can negotiate

Honest question: in circumstances like this where other party is at-fault (clearly), would Silverado driver be able to go after the other driver/insurer to get his “gap” covered?

Said another way, is the gap only a problem when it’s your own fault?

...and now Silverado guy is both literally and figuratively upside down in that truck.

If you watch the first video you can clearly see that the Hellcat continues to push the Silverado into the curb.  Hitting the curb caused the rollover.

What we should have is high speed rail connecting cities within 200 miles or so of each other.

Because every time we even think about funding Amtrak the idiots come racing to howl that it’s a boondoggle, waste of taxpayer money, etc.

Neutral: Slideshows....

Yes because Toyota, in their infinite wisdom, decided it would be nice to do two brake jobs at once.

You would be surprised by the number of people that buy a new vehicle and promptly swap out the factory rubber.  Oem rubber is made to a price point, not to be optimal for the vehicle.

It can be disclosed to law enforcement. Depending on circumstances that doesn’t mean law enforcement are allowed to disclose it to the general public.

He was probably distracted by a slideshow

That’s quite an oversight then. Given that this is VW, it’s also very possible that the dash lights have already burned out.

The unlit buttons would drive me mad, but not as mad as the all the different temperatures of white you see from the back seat of a Model X.

The batteries probably have chain guides on them somewhere.

My main concern would be reliability and maintenance, as it’s German, thus the battery probably has dozens of unnecessary moving parts that are failure prone and expensive to repair.
