Speaking of large trucks, I’d like to see some of this hybrid and EV tech applied to garbage trucks. Stop and go with a lot of engine rev’ing seems like it could be made more efficient with maybe a smaller, constant and lower db engine.

Why not just have a generator on a trailer? Solves one problem, but negates the solution of an all electric truck.

Let me explain. There are u-turns on each side of what would be regular street overpasses. That way you don’t have to sit at stop lights and make two left turns to get back on the highway in the opposite direction you were going. Sometimes this saves 5 to 15 minutes depending on the intersection and time of day.
