Oh man... I spent a long time trying all the major To Do apps for Android and finally settled on Astrid. It had more features than I needed but had all the ones I wanted and had a nice level of polish on it. Back to square one.

I use tasker to turn on and off bluetooth and connect to the correct speaker based on conditions that fit when its on my nightstand (night time, on my wifi, plugged into AC) or in my car (USB power, on it's side)

Honestly Play/Pause is the only button I use in the notifcation pulldown for BeyondPod

As I get unwanted calls I add the number to my Android contacts under "Telemarketer" and have that contact sent directly to Google Voice voicemail.
