Actually they have a major interest in residual values after a lease. They have to remarket those cars after they are turned in and want money out of them. The residual also needs to be good, or the depreciation will make the monthly lease payments too high.

Is he playing “Night Driver?”

Yeah, there is risk for anyone without top-tier credit to go through a dealer (they would get the captive finance company’s advertised rate with less room for game) for financing. I’m sure prejudice makes this even worse for people of color.

Based on the description, the pricing discrepancy was not based on TFS risk or pricing model. It had to do with the flexibility afforded to a dealer to structure the financing in a manner that pays the dealer more. Often referred to as dealer participation.

2WD and body panels not made of swiss cheese? Is David Tracy broken?

I got a 4WD pickup in January. This reinforces my regret in not buying another beater. I would love to do some off-roading, but mine is far too shiny and new to be able to enjoy it.

That is partially due to lack of lane discipline

Having driven in Oklahoma about a month ago, there is an abundance of signs stating this law. My only disappointment was I didn’t see it enforced enough.

It’s a great pickup for those that don’t really need a truck.

I really need a facetious flag!

You’re an American that got rear ended by a Semi?based on screaming lawyer ads I have seen, you should be Bentley shopping.

Unless she has only 1 Pagani at each of her 16 homes.

First sentence had me thinking you might be David Tracy’s neighbor
