An LS motor makes a lot of sense in an FD. It doesn't really add any weight, but improves power, reliability, fuel economy, etc.

I'm sorry, but that's not how it works at all. How boring would Jalopnik be if we were only allowed to voice opinions about cars we've driven? I've driven all sorts of cars, new and old, fast and slow, boring and exciting. I've read reviews of cars written by journalists or enthusiasts I trust, and I form opinions

It's actually spelled differently depending on where it's from.

Have I driven an S4 Elan? No, but the universal opinion is that they're great drivers cars. Have you driven an S4 Elan and can confirm that they're not? If you've decided that they're equivalent to any other car from this era, fine, but you are wrong. I've driven plenty of vintage cars, having worked at a restoration

-Because it's old? No, that doesn't really matter as much as you seem to think. It's simple in the same way a new Caterham is.

It's a neat car, but:

Jesus Christ. Jalopnik is not the place for you if you think a goddamn Odyssey is more fun to drive than an Elan.

Doesn't your example make the exact opposite point?

This comment is so ridiculous that it almost comes full circle.

It might be a goofy pet peeve, but it really bothers me when people put their BMW model badge on the left side of the trunk.

Interesting. I had no idea.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but a moose and an elk are two completely different creatures.

I think Gemballa is still a thing, even if Uwe Gemballa no longer is.

Honestly, there's nothing that makes the Prius more awful to drive than most cars on the road. The steering is light, but not terrible. It weighs 2900lbs (the XW20 at least). It feels nimble enough.

They're not an exact copy of either wheel—there are similarities to both. In fact, the following wheels all look very similar:

You want a five year old D?

Tell your eyes that TE37s have 6 spokes, not 5. These are a knockoff of the Nismo LMGT4, also made by Rays.

Where is the evidence that this employee was incompetent?

It's possible, yes.
