that's a nice thought. I had my mom & dad walk me down the isle- after that we had both sets of parents join us so we could thank them. I gave his parents flowers, as he did mine, and then the two of us proceeded with a short & sweet ceremony.

I couldn't make it to the end of the article; those two paragraphs from Weingartens piece are going to haunt me for years to come. It seems impossible now that I am a parent to hear of these horrible tragedies and not picture myself in those parents' shoes, to see my child in those children's place. I don't think

definitely an Ontario thing.

they seem to be doing some around Vancouver now, too (they are originally from the lower mainland I believe).

i don't think salaries are necessarily all that higher... unfortunately it is pretty out of reach for the majority of young people starting out. Most people need a rental suite to make it work; many others simply have to move farther & farther east to be able to afford a home.

so true!

it is pretty crazy. We're actually in a suburb of Vancouver, so it's not as high, but it's still high. $600k is an average price for a family home. We are fortunate enough to have the income to do it, but it doesn't stop us from thinking from time to time about how we could really live like kings if we were to move

Fair enough! I have not seen tangled, so I will take you at your word.

he has the perfect teeth & hair for tv. And he seems so nice!

income property really is a good one.

I used to hate it, but it has grown on me and I can watch marathons now! It doesn't get old! I can't stand Jillian on the vancouver spin off, though.

just the one? Aren't they twins?

I support your top picks! As long as we are clear that it is the original Love it or List it, not the bastard Vancouver spin off. I live here even, and it's fun to see local homes, but Jillian manages to make me cringe every episode.

well, you did say there was something "fundamentally off" about her face. Which is, IMO, pretty unnecessary.

I thought the same thing... He looks a little flat.

agreed! I received a bottle of "roughles" by OPI/Nicole in my ipsy bag a few months back... It looked like a pretty speckled robins egg colour in pictures; in real life it was a horrible scratchy mess. So disappointing.

That's a good dog you had. I'm glad it was by the waistband of your shorts, though! I have memories of being dragged, in the snow, by my scarf in the grip of a friends Dalmatian named Blue. I think i was 3 or 4? I recall snow funneling into my snowsuit at the neck and this crazy hound dragging me along the

I think it makes sense if the servers are making a living wage. I never realized how little $/hour servers make in some parts if the US until reading about it here. I'm in BC and here they make at least minimum wage, which is $10 & change/hour; 15% is pretty standard here.

OMG. That GIF.. I can't stop watching it

no. not even a little bit.
