Yeah, I’m not too crazy about Amazon Basic cables. To echo another commenter, Anker and Aukey are consistently good, both for chargers, and cables. Also had good luck when I bought TronSmart car and wall chargers shortly after I bought the Nexus 6P. All of these are better options, price-wise, than paying the…
In semi-seriousness, TFA is short... I suspect that’s not a coincidence.
So you’re saying we DO have a quick fix for global warming? Hmmm.
^^This. I have to assume that some people are immune to the jitters from extra coffee, but a second cup tends to make me physically ill unless I combine it with L-Theanine (which I heard about from a different Lifehacker article about nootropics).
I don’t know what to make of this. What if the plane is flying over Macho Grande?
Usually it means the content provider is struggling and trying to find an audience. I haven’t checked Showtime’s financials, but the quality of their overall catalog seems to be lagging behind the other premiums, and even Netflix. Which is weird, since, IIRC, their parent company also owns CBS.
This is embarrassing to admit, but I misread similar advice several years ago, and learned the hard way what a slipped bearing was. (Seriously.)
There’s a theater in the Summit behind Trader Joe’s that takes MoviePass, for what it’s worth. :)
Short Term 12. Indie enough to be cool, but with great acting, good laughs, good drama, good enough plot, and surprisingly good feels at most points. It’s a gem in my opinion (but there lies the problem with opinions, and the fact that they get colored by hype.)
Gave you a star because you had the guts to give credit to something that should be “snake oil” and had the good sense to realize it made no sense that it helped. Darned if I’m not curious about acupuncture and chiropractic care, but still ignore them in favor of the “tried and 30% true” practice of going to my…
To be fair, Amazon Prime comes with.. Amazon Prime, so it might be the last to go for me.
Came here for an “In the Air Tonight” comment. Left mildly disappointed after reading most of the comments.
That escalated quickly
This is usually the only reason I ever tailgate (the other 3.5% of the time is some idiot in the passing lane and NOT PASSING).
+1 for Man of Steel. Criminally underrated. Perfect? Of course not. The mind-numbingly continuous onslaught of disaster in the third act sorely detracted from the story, but at least it had a purpose, i.e., to give earth a reason to begin to trust the all-powerful alien in its midst.
If you do a literal pinch, be sure to wash your fingers before rubbing your eyes. Source: a hard-knock life.
To keep with the foodie comments, I second this.. a mild kick added to candied anything adds a whole new world.
Wondering whether a lot of aspies might appreciate this article. It concisely gives valuable, credible and concrete steps that can pay major dividends in relationships.
+1
I like dis. Only potential problem is if the vendor wants me to confirm the phone number by entering the code they texted me. Still worth a shot, though!
