Even things that do transmit won't actually cause a problem. I've forgotten to turn my phone off before, and gotten a brief moment of signal at 30,000 feet. (although that was totally unintentional)

More angles please... I would love to actually have an idea what it looks like.
This is why we need a scientist for President.
I just spent a full 10 minutes looking for a specific example of word salad that I half-remember, no luck.
So... it's not a spider that can fly? because when you make an article about a flying spider, I expect flying spiders to be involved.
When you change things on a hard drive, the hard drive is physically altered as well. I'll cite CDs as another example: If you find a CD that is only half full (it basically has to be something that you/a friend burned, big companies fill the free space somehow), You can flip it over and look at it in the light and…
Think bigger! Convince a group of people that it's totally worth it to spend X years mining on a different planet, then make a bunch of copies of the consciousnesses and use them on different planets. As long as each team never become aware of their other copies, nobody has to be the wiser.

While I do agree with the "cannon for satellite launch" principle, a rail gun isn't right for the job. I thought that Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles were designed to hit things that are a looooong ways away. Doesn't that make the idea of the plane being an easy target in enemy territory kind of a moot point?
I'm sure you could put a refuel stop in without changing the look of it, but if they did it all on one tank that's almost more impressive than the design.
Sure, at the cost of hydrogen. On a grand scale it would solve the helium problem, but still not do anything for the net loss of mass.
I was using jpegs, but I guess it didn't like me that much. I actually ended up uninstalling the beta and going back to the stable version, without my extra space. It was causing some other things to slow down, and it wasn't worth it. I assume my OS isn't the problem, because it should totally be compatible with…
...or three in one.
My gut response would be to spend the next 60 minutes posting pictures of armatures to this thread. Fortunately for both of us, I only have time to do two or three.
