I think it's safe to say that there is no intention to make Chris Brinkley better than Gob Bluth. This is more of a "traditional" comedy than AD and Will Arnett is talented enough to pull off a fairly normal character in a funny way. It's unfair to keep holding him up to a character he hasn't played in over five years.

I just saw him in August and he did Frank's 2000 Inch TV.
