Well if you're familiar with rack mount equipment then you'll know that the standard is to draw air from the sides and exhaust out the top or rear.

I never stated that those feet would provide enough flow for the steam machine, however you claimed that people aren't able to stack "any decent home theater component".

That's why most high quality home theater components include good sized feet on the bottom instead just little rubber bumpers that you get with the cheap stuff. it allows for ample air-flow between stacked components.

1. Black, meaning that with the lights down in my home theater it blends in with the darkness... check
2. shaped like a box meaning it easily fits in with, or can be stacked above or below other home theater components... check

Seems like the perfect design for me. Maybe it's because I'm into home theater and I want my

I was thinking the same thing... I'll be backing both projects, The modern gaming landscape is sorely missing good games like these.

That goes without saying. Obviously a YouTube personality who is interested in creating several videos a week for the purpose of ad revenue is going to value quantity over quality.

The sad reality is that spending the time to improve the quality of the video will rarely give you much of a monitary return for the extra

I think you misinterpreted what I was saying... Jump cuts requires less work than OTHER TYPES OF EDITING.

Obviously, no editing is the fastest way to "edit", but then you'd have to write out the script and manage to film it perfect in one take, which could dramatically increase the filming time.

Most of these youtube

Honestly I've found PS3 Media Server to be a giant turd... half the time when I launch it, the PS3 wont recognize it, and if I do get it to connect there's a good chance it's going to crash or lag-out half way through the stream.

The sad thing is After battling with it for weeks I finally decided to try XBMC on my

I played Knack at the Gamestop Expo and it really just didn't grab me. It kind of reminded me of Kameo, which is a good thing because Kameo was a great game, but there was nothing about that made me want to keep playing.

I found Drive Club to be pretty underwhelming as well, though if that were still a launch title I

They're called "jump cuts" and they do that because it's quick and easy to do and helps keep the video shorter and moving at a quick pace.

I'm pretty sure it's just your regular old Dekotora

Eesh... I've got both a PS4 and XB1 pre-ordered but as someone who isn't a shooter fan, Contrast is the only game I'm even remotely interested in here.

At least on the XB1 side I've got Killer Instinct, Forza 5 Crimson Dragon and Dead Rising 3 in addition to any of the x-plat titles I'm interested in. All Franchises I

That's how the PS1 controllers/first generation dual shock controllers were originally designed to be held. It wasn't until the PS3's "sixaxis" variation that the L2/R2 buttons and the surrounding controller casing were redesigned to better accommodate the use of a single finger up top instead of the first 2 fingers.

I wouldn't call those analog buttons awesome, the few games that did actually use them would murder your thumb trying to hold pressure on them. not to mention the throw was so short you really didn't have any control anyway.

Also THANK YOU for writing this article... I've been decrying the garbage ergonomics of the PS

Agreed... for the Dreamcast the VGA Box is the best output option for that console without question... it's substantially better quality than SCART. If your TV has a DVI-I port you can get a simple VGA to DVI throughput adapter and essentially run the console natively on the TV.

It was a good article overall. Most of the time when I read advice about connecting old consoles to new TVs it comes with the recommendation of some upscaler or converter that's likely to trash the image quality... Simply recommending one uses the best output available and relying on the TV's internal hardware is

I wouldn't worry too much about the build quality of the cable so much as the type of signals it actually supports. SCART can transmit composite, S-Video or RGB (or a combination there of) so there's a chance that a cheap cable might leave out the RGB connections in lieu of composite, even if the device supports it.

You forgot some very important points.

xbox/siri ... what's the difference? it's just a word.

Sony has historically had pretty weak launch line ups... But I think that's mostly due to them banking on the console's selling anyway so they put their franchises where the install base already exists (ie where they can make the most money).... hence why we got Last of Us just recently and will be getting Gran
