I'm not really big on strategy games, but I'll give don't starve a look, thanks!

Any recommendations for good single player games that I CAN'T get on console? I already bought AntiChamber a while ago but most of the big titles I already own on 360 or PS3... I'm not much of a multiplayer kind of guy.

People keep telling me to get into Steam but I'm having a hard time finding anything interesting

My point is Credit Cards are NOT required... I got my Ouya yesterday and was able to use it without providing one.

Typing of the Dead still gets regular play on my Dreamcast... it's such an awesome party game... sadly none of my light gun games work anymore though due to modern display technology. I've still got the light guns, just no CRT TV

When I miss my Dreamcast I play my Dreamcast.... Justsayin.

As a backer myself who only got their console yesterday, I was frustrated with the delay, but it's nothing that would cause me to swear off the console. As for the credit card, you're not required to provide one to use it, you can use pre-paid cards for purchases if you so desire.

I don't see these things as problems.

"ten people" I thought Ouya sold out everywhere on launch and the overabundance of pre-orders was part of the reason backers got delayed... If you know the actual sales figures for the console I'd be interested in seeing them.

Square has already announced that they're releasing it for Android so I don't really so a problem there.

Uncharted... I found the story interesting but I found the gameplay during the firefights infuriating to the point where I just had to stop playing... It's pretty rare that I don't finish a game but I just couldn't take anymore of that one.

Do it Squenix... Give those of us who want to play this game on a TV that opportunity and help legitimize that little weird box at the same time. You've already ported FFIII for Ouya, if you're releasing The Fall for Android anyway then all you'll really have to do is make sure it runs smooth and has controller

"the vast majority"? with the exception of speed run videos every console game video I've watched on youtube is from a modern release. eg: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U etc. Last time I checked none of those are being emulated.

I know Kotaku like's to point out "Lets Play" videos exclusively for some reason, but they only make

The difference here is that this is an on-going problem with Nintendo's stance on broadcasting images of their game.

Whenever Japanese commercials come up all I think of is this nightmare fuel:

I award you 10 Internets good netizen.

I just finished Infinite, the gameplay took me some time to warm up to it but by the end of the game it's pretty awesome. The ending of Infinite was amazing, dare I say one of the best endings to a video game ever.

There was an interview with him on Conan where it sounded like he was nearing completion of "Winds of Winter". He even stated that he's working hard on the book because his biggest fear was the TV show catching up to the books.

I used to read MegaTokyo years ago but for some reason I took it off of my list of webcomics... *checks megatokyo.com * ...hmm it seems today is a "Dead Piro Day" yup that's probably why I stopped reading it.

I'm honestly surprised it wasn't already in arcades... Japan gets a lot of releases that we don't simply because they make good use of generic cabinets, all they needs is some PC hardware with a special version of the game design to run on credits..

It really is crazy how inferior the Saturn was to model 2... A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to buy a Virtual On arcade machine for a really good price. Before I got it setup to play (it needed a little work) I was worried if I was remembering the game through nostalgia glasses and played a few games on

...neither of which were features designed to attract non-gaming consumers. Many many people had CD players and anyone with internet access already had a PC with a browser.

DVDs however were very new and lots of people wanted to upgrade out of their VCR. As a result many people bought a PS2 as their first DVD player,
