@Thrubeingcool: Not to nitpick, but Idris Elba isn't African American, he's British.

Short of being grossly offensive, nothing ever getes cancelled over here- especially on the BBC, as they're publicly funded they can more or less show what they want, if they drop something into a graveyard slot it means that two things have happened; the audience aren't watching and the suits don't like the show....
I really hope Sucker Punch doesn't turn out to be a turkey- it's been supplying me with desktop backgrounds for months- I'd hate them to come from a turkey...
Point 6 especially annoys me- I'm British and live in Cornwall, so comic books are both expensive and in somewhat erratic supply- so having to buy "extra" books (that my local shops almost certainly won't have) to have any bloody clue as to what's going on really bugs me (I know I can use the interwebz to keep up, but…
@ARYXANDRE: I'm getting the demo so I can see how well/if it'll run on my laptop= the first one did so I'm not sure
@Xcite79: What I mean is the whole "let's support the percieved (and self-described) lesser of two evils" doesn't hold up, it;s largely undemocratic and gives you situations like Chile under Pinochet- whereby the defense of "correct" or more accurately pro-American governments trumps self-determination- ANd it's the…
@NumberFourtyThree: Personally I think if Islamism in Egypt was as powerful as Mubarak claims his ass would've been kicked long ago- the guy's a second rate mediocrity at best...
@TrainerRed: MMO- how do you do teamwork based pokemon?
@mindsale: Nah, he's going to keep playing for a couple more turns and see if he can't control the unrest, failing that he'll change civics (especially as other friendly factions are using their diplo actions to encourage it)
@Xcite79: funny thing about democracy is if the people want them, it's none of your business. Eg, if I really don't like Sarah Palin, I'm still not allowed to militarily and fiscally prop-up Obama as President for life, in case she comes to power, am I?
@animeman59: Not happening, if the business with the Copts over Christmas proved anything it's that Egyptians are nationalistic above theocratic. Also, it's not the Brotherhood leading the protests, it's young folk, urban, comparatively well-educated- people who want modernisation and transparency, their big demand is…
@interkin3tic: But if the people there want to elect a theocracy that's their business and their bed to lie in
@nophilip: that other universe would also miss out on an epic episode of South Park ;-)
@Charlie Jane Anders: perhaps he likes to have a nap and some dinner after a good murder- limiting how many he can kill per day? Or he's some kinda pattern-based serial killer like Calender-Man...
@Foohy: most of the Autobahn has speed limits now- if you really want to avoid them, try the Isle of Mann
@TimeNeverRests (PS1): Nope, Mammy's Irish/Glaswegian, Dad's a Londoner and I'm from Wycombe- I'm ethnically whatever suits company ;-)
@TimeNeverRests (PS1): We do, it's just that most of the standard "Western" style of dress and artistic style comes from British (and German) "stuff" from the nineteenth century. Plus look at rural areas and you still see crazy old traditions- here in Cornwall we still have "darkie day" a holiday involving Blackface :s
@AikenIdin: History builds accents, not geography- and we got more of it than you ;-)
@Manly McBeeferton: If only...
@EUAN1337: He exposed himself in the workplace- try it at work see how your mangaer takes your "I'm not being PC" hogwash
