@Ravel: and yet everybody does business with China- the ultimate double-standard bearing false free-market...

@Krackato-ATOMIC COLLIDER!: The Conservative Party don't care though; they'd have no problem with increased unemployment and they also are less than keen on New Media

@someone_else: plus we don't make anything to export :-(

@resvrgam: Odds are those jobs were from UK businesses that were bought out.

@Arnheim: I'd say the influence of outside forces on America are nothing like the outward extertion- unless foreign business interests have ever overthrown a US government ?

I can't decide whether it would be interesting or awful (or both) if earth-originated life too root on Phobos, because any mutation or evolution would surely be unique, extraterrestrial (sort of) life, or at the least offer insight into what alien life could be like. On the other hand, we could screw up another

@Kamenwati: Not 'till my incredibly convoulted conspiracy to assume the throne is complete ;-)

As I just turned 18, my resolution is to go to every pub and/or bar within a five mile radius of my house in the enxt year- and as I live in a tourist area (Padstow, UK) that could take a while....

@Jezuz: I could actually see Kinect Plantts versus Zombies being an absolute blast...

@AbraKaDaggers: cricket means right and propper-like the sport, ruddy means "very" but in a n angry way, a less offensive version of bloody, and no-one ever said toodle-pip apart from to take the piss out of public (British for private) schoolboys.

@psycoking: I wish I lived in a more lyrical country "United Kingdom, Fuck Yeah!" and "Britain, Fuck Yeah" both sound mucho crap :-(

@DouchieSnacks: Personally, I see it as more perversely amusing than PC.

@Lawdog: It is possible to believe in Jesus as saviour yaddy yadda and hate other ethnicities- hell the Anglican Church owned slaves!

With regards to QI apparently there's some huge licensing/copyright issue regarding the background images behind the panelists (seriously) that screws with international distribution.

@Traveshamockery: I'll loan you a guiltovoltaic cell and we'll find out, if so, I have a fantastic money making plan for South Africa ;-)

@TheRevanchist2: true, but I find that for major purchases from large corporations (eg, cars, electronics etc) google can show you an awful lot

@TheRevanchist2: for starters, if you stumble across evidence (eg, in a newspaper) that says a console is made with illegally sourced minerals mined by children, knock it off the christmas list- ethical consumerism really isn't that hard once you start

@dowingba: Stupid Gods/Universe/calender manufacturers/whatever they really should check with the videogame makers first...

@lazyeight: Plus, if he gets bored of that he can summon some of those double rainbows that show up so much in his official biography- they'll light the place up nicely
