Indiana is Chicago in the northwest corner, moderate to liberal Indianapolis in the middle, college towns in West Lafayette and Bloomington, and Kentucky everywhere else.

I live in downtown Indy and the canal is mostly surrounded by parks, housing, and museum spaces. Not to say it can’t happen but the roads are not super close to the canal.

To be clear, Indianapolis has a Democratic mayor and council.

Indianapolis can be a pretty great city. It remains, however, surrounded by the rest of the state.

We adopted both of our dogs. One from a local shelter and one from a rescue organization.

I go to this little guy from animal league, which I believe is the organization that runs the puppy bowl. Adopt don’t shop! P.s. He only has three legs.

This is Obie. Obie was a shelter dog, was returned 5 times before I got him because he couldn’t tell the difference between cats and food. Who could blame him? He lived with me for a year and 3 months, and was my partner in crime and best buddy until he died 3 weeks ago. Fuck Cancer, and get yourself a shelter dog.
