It helps that I am in a hot city in a hot industry (until the next crash) - lots of jobs and recruiters - makin’ hay while the sun shines! And getting into a position where I’m happy is just gold!

If I have time and a lemon on weekends, I totally make lemon water and gulp that down. I like to squeeze a slice of lemon into cold water with ice cubes and it can be phenomenal. Most days, I try to just drink cold water (which I love) but if I’m going on a road trip, I have my insulated hydra flask to keep my water…

Yes, that’s why I keep repeating the above as a mantra. My industry is pretty small in a small town (not totally small, it’s PNW city you’ve definitely heard of but it feels small) and we will cross paths again at some point. I see my former boss at least once a year at a networking event as well as former co-workers…

I think it’s time to reassess how comfortable you feel with this friend, sometimes friendships end or shift to more acquaintance (sounds like this is happening already) - stay firm with your boundaries, don’t allow the toxic behavior and have fun with your younger guy! I was at a work function where I overheard a client tell a consultant they thought the tariffs were a good idea(this was about 6 months ago) - I’m pretty sure that doofus voted for drumpf ‘because her emails’ but also he’s just a stupid (college educated) white guy who gets overpaid for being pleasant looking and…

I hate to say it but the average person - at least the ‘average’ Trump supporter don’t understand how tariffs work-many (supporters) think it’s a great idea! #maganot

I find a one to one ratio is best, I get a little high but mostly feel calm.

Sometimes I’ve had nice conversations with drivers but you never know when they are going to slide into some crazy talk or ask me if I’m married and “why not”... which is also why I no longer have the drivers drop me off at my apartment but at the bar a block away from my house...
