I heard he was controlled through 2018, so we’ll have him for all of next season too.

I don’t think this is going to be a good pairing. Chris Paul is supremely overrated unless he has multiple playmakers around him. The problem in LA was that Crawford and JJ were the primary shooters, and running a pick-and-roll with Griffin and Jordan was either going to be a CP jumper or a dunk/low-post shot. He

Hot take alert: Chris Paul sucks, can’t close out games and will never win anything; he’s a terrible big game point guard. Chris Paul is supremely overrated.

I feel like a lot of these layoffs are not because of cord-cutting right now or in the recent past, but because ESPN didn’t anticipate that change years ago. They foolishly expanded to start ESPN Boston, Dallas, New York, whatever and they pay through their damn teeth for the rights to broadcast everything they can

I’m so glad I watched this and that the NCAA moved the Final Four to Friday to not compete with the men. Such an awesome finish and love seeing Dak as the baseball team being pumped for the women. Question, is this the biggest shot/moment in WBB history? I mean the last UCONN loss ended with them not even getting a

This was crazy. I tuned out and then thought somebody had crashed the stage. Dude for La La Land was gracious though, he didn’t want to win a tainted Oscar. Crazy ending. Love Jimmy Kimmel’s blame Steve Harvey line.

Is it a travel on a fast break if a guy pushed the ball ahead of him and then takes 3 steps before dribbling again? Can’t be a double dribble if he dispossesses the ball.

I would like to present the case that he actually might not have traveled. After his last dribble, he lets go of the ball and therefore he no longer technically has possession. He takes his set-up steps without possessing the ball and his final two steps come immediately after regaining possession, thus not needing to

My question on Pass Interference is what is the burdon of proof to overturn a PI call? I think it’s easy to look at a no call and say “that should’ve been called” but how can you look at a call and determine that something wasn’t PI. They could say “see he grabbed his jersey barely right there, call upheld.” Also,

Am I missing something in that first gif or does Trump not go in for a hug or kiss but instead is shaking somebody’s hand, the same person that Tiffany turns and looks at?

Easily the best recurring post on Deadspin right now. Almost at the point where we get an update once a day!

What’s surprising is that the author still hasn’t deleted the tweet from his account linking to the story:

I still miss ol’ Piggy Poop Balls, pretty sure that was one of the original emails in the thread. Whatever happened to Piggy Poop Balls? Anybody have a recent picture of him? Oh wait, I found one:

What’s funny is that if you watch the ref on the near sideline with his arm up, he drops his arm and gives an air punch to basically signify to start the clock but then realizes his error, keeps his harm halfway up and then kinda spasms there at the end. Good on the timekeeper to not follow the refs indicator and wait

I just want to reply to the chicken guy. Just rinse and dry all the chicken, both what you cook and freeze. Then wrap the chicken you are freezing in saran wrap and put that in a bag. It minimizes the chicken juice (because you’ve already rinsed and dried) and it keeps all the juice on the inside of the saran wrap.

Wait, is this photoshopped or is Goodell really giving Brady a death stare?

I was just thinking the same thing. What are the rules for when you are not able to make a catch. If he climbed over the wall and is standing in the first row is that a catch? Are there “out of bound” type rules or does he just have to originate his jump/attempt from the field of play?

I’m not sure if this is a legitimate question or not, but I’m going to ask anyway. Since this is the last game of the regular season and it’s a known by all parties that if the Heat finish 11th overall for worst record they lose their pick, what’s to prevent the Heat from just forfeiting? Is that allowed? Just say

Well I looked in the official NFL rule book and turns out I'm completely wrong on this. Unless there's some other definition of a "passer."
