Probably not, since the less-silly options of explaining Clara's existence would probably involve them having the same personality. My bet right now is that the real Oswin is still a tech wizard, but hacked a Dalek to do a personality transfer for some sort of escape plan. At least to me, it sounds a little less

The BBC actually released a tribute to the Ponds which includes a bit of behind-the-scenes on the scene where the Doctor reads the last page. Apparently Matt Smith was surrounded by around 800 people watching it, and had to hold a fake page lest someone take photographs. Karen Gillen was sitting a tad off camera,

Less time travel, so it might manage to all be the same timeline in the Torchwood-verse? Who knows what continuity relations are left after the universe got rebooted in Season 5.

There's been some talk, not sure of the source, that Angels are able to convert other statues into new Angels. Don't know if it's a proximity thing or what, but these Angels are fairly well-fed and it seems a logical leap from "the image of an Angel becomes an Angel".

Quite possibly. When the Ponds hopped off the Quay to save Manhattan, it was Amy that the Doctor was yelling for.

Honestly, that makes more sense to me. The Pathweb doesn't seem to have any logical connection with the Doctor not being recognized by Solomon's spiffy value-o-meter.

Can't say I've been watching, but has Leno had robots to carry him up into a pillar of light?

Yeah, I'd honestly have been more satisfied with the episode from a plotting view if Amy and Rory had actually died when the jumped. Sure, it was in heroic fashion, but they would have been dead.

Now that you've added a few more sentences, you've got more of a valid point. Yes, the show can be very predictable. Yes, the Angels aren't a terribly frightening enemy since their main attack is to do something the Doctor can usually undo in about two minutes on his timeline.

As far as teasing, though, The Power of Three and that bit in Dinosaurs where Amy asked if the Doctor was weaning them off of him were much more of a tease.

The image of an Angel becomes an Angel, so yeah, ball dropped there.
