xD. But come on...Don’t you want to go searching for Carl with me? I know we just found him five minutes ago, but he seems to have wandered off again...

I know that franchises are proven things, and thus make Hollywood feel safe and warm, but honestly: when did telling a self contained story with a clear beginning, middle, and end that wasn’t meant to be carried on continuously become a bad thing?
No no no. I definitely meant people to replace him THEN, rather than now. As far as “now” goes, I completely agree with Oscar Isaac. “Then”...I don’t honestly know.
The original death of Superman felt like a legitimate event. I was young enough that comics were still MAGICAL magical, rather than just being great storytelling. The idea that SUPERMAN could DIE was huge for me and my friends.
Indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Is Oscar Isaac a “then” choice, or a choice you support with The Force Awakens and other recent work to go on?
While the majority of what you said was solid opinion I can’t find fault with, I am going to ding you on TWD reference.
Well, I used to be a furry, and I can tell you that fox isn’t thinking what you think he’s thinking. He’s thinking that tormenting rabbits is great for the LOLZ. xD
You know, it’s odd to think that stuff like Tom-Tom used to include this sort of functionality, and Google Maps still doesn’t. I wonder if it’s a legal issue, a la “Well, officer, my map said I was going five miles slower than that”.
Is it sad that this is some of the best news I’ve heard for/from the USPS in quite a long time? I mean, honestly, sometimes it feels like they’re verging on DMV levels of sadness/hopelessness. And this place used to be held up as a model of efficiency and quality.
Yeah, but that isn’t suggestive. xD
Honestly, I think the way things are now works pretty well. While it’s definitely odd for something as large as the Inhuman Renaissance to go unmentioned by the larger scale heroes, allowing the larger scale to influence the smaller scale without much reciprocity keeps things easy to follow.
Having things be dark and depressing does not, in any way, equate to “adult”. The current direction DC is going comes, in my opinion, from absorbing the wrong lessons from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. They took the tone as the thing that made those films successful, when it was only part of the winning…
Please stop posting suggestive furry images. It’s gets them all excited. xD
Could that have something to do with the fact that this version of the character seems to be....I dunno, some sort of robot, lacking in all emotions?
I’m not so much talking about the portrayal of the character as the actor himself. Terrance Howard has never really been my cup of tea.
Pretty sure that’s where we’re driving to.
Sorry. I’m just being honest, though. I don’t mean to spoil your dreams of Joffrey torture...But you can’t deny that the method of resurrection in question has a downside when it comes to tormenting specific people to death repeatedly.
I can see where you’re headed with that. I didn’t say I disliked Norton’s Banner, just that I preferred Ruffalo’s.
Maybe pre- and mid-New Jedi Order Jacen, sure. But can we agree that post-Traitor/Destiny’s Way Jacen was already starting to be a bit of a dick, and post-New Jedi Order Jacen was definitely an amoral, uncaring bastard?
