Maybe it's the equivalent of the Time of Judgement in old World of Darkness? Going out with a bang...
They magically don't have an urge to leave the town, and don't think about the fact that none of them can remember when they met, or why they have no parents.
I dislike the fighting part. I would rather that they all kick back and just chat for a couple of hours while wandering through the post-apocalyptic landscape. Kind of like a monstrous version of Coffee and Cigarettes.
Or maybe the red blood would have altered the colouration of the skin - made it seem too rosy or suchlike?

Hmm, new spider man comic idea - 40ish Spider-Man; Peter has a young family and starts going through a mid life crisis when he realises that the venom symbiote is getting a bit tight around the waist. Can he fight crime and hold down a middle management position at the bugle? And will he keep text flirting with the…
He's been blind in one eye since he was quite young, so I suspect the motion is a bit more natural to him. It's quite subtle and you can only really spot him weaving slightly when he's concentrating; such as when he is batting at cricket.
gently waving his head from side to side to give his brain the chance to judge the depth better, like my friend with only one eye does.
With this, a nicely spliced together trailer that tells me everything I need to know.
