How about the handlingers from China Mieville's Perdido Street Station, they're a whole race of evil hands.

@polle404: And then the vampires get drunk on the alcohol filled blood.
@palinode: And then night falls...
@Sands: You're not alone, but most people are too scared to post where Skynet can see it.
@TheDarkWayne: To be sure. The horns are just his old country blood showin' through.
@NightyFury: It's pronounced kinda different. Really. Sure. Savaaaj O'Press .
@starbuck13: Lucasfilm is never going to spend the money to clean up the original cut to Blu-Ray quality, so the current DVDs that are out are the best you're going to get of the original versions.
Weirdly I seem to be alone in looking forward to seeing these films in 1080p with the remixed sound. Say what you like about Lucas's storytelling, but he always puts out a gorgeous looking product.
@tetracycloide: Nope, just special editions.
@Faustroll: People demanded the original versions on DVD, they complained extensively. So he rereleased them (at a cheaper rate) with the originals in there - but didn't spend a lot of money on doing them up because it would have been incredibly expsneive to redo all the cleanup work they did on the special editions.
@impossiblefunky: Apparently no new scenes will be inserted, just available on the disks. The only likely change is switching digital yoda for deformed puppet Yoda in Ep I.
@starbuck13: Nope, just the special editions. Announced at the Celebration 5 convention last year.
@Zadkiel: No, they announced it is only the special editions some time ago.
@minimaltek: treally, I find reading in the page turn style far easier than scrolling down. Easier on the eyes and fewer button clicks.
You know, this made me realise the problem with Tron:Legacy. All of us who grew up with Star Wars now see it as a hugely complicated space opera with a complicated back story and a detailed mythology of what happened moment by moment over 2000 years of galaxy far, far away history.
All children should read the Wombles, so they get all the jokes in the Borribles - awesome dark urban fantasy.
@Sven Neve: Don't we call that a SyFy direct to TV movie?
@DavidRStewart: Well, the original BSG was trying depsreately to rip off Star wars, so they should continue the theme into the modern age.
@Parsifal: How do you think he makes his money? From the Daily Planet? Nope!
@Misfit110: I dunno, they managed it just fine in Alias.
