We went to Kentucky a few weeks ago and noticed the black mold around the distilleries and how distilleries are often painted black because of it.

In 2019, Shyamalan said about The Happening, “I think it’s a consistent kind of farce humor. You know, like The Blob.” So maybe it WAS supposed to be funny? What a twist!

I cannot wait to see these things go away. I don’t care if you collect them, but they’re pretty much everywhere and taking more and more real estate in LGS’s.

I grew up in the late 90's in a household that constantly blared Fox News and Rush Limbaugh and always had a National Review near the toilet. I totally thought my family was super smart when it came to politics and everyone else that didn’t agree with any of those talking points was just pretty wrong.

Wait, there are modern browsers that don’t automatically open all your tabs when you open the browser?

That is a lot of words for a simple “no”.

I breaks my mind that you have a “best football movies” list and leave off two of the greatest:

I think the house was built in early 90's but yeah, pretty much that. It’s a pretty amazingly bad setup because there’s actually no good spot to put a TV in that house.

They really nailed my favorite part of going to live concert events, the tiered pricing! This will surely get me to come back to the theaters.

And speaking of parents-- my wife’s parents have their TV in a little nook cabinet in the side of the room that can be hidden away. It is the most inconvenient thing imaginable. Basically one person can watch TV.

When we moved into our house, my wife’s mom has a decorator friend that offered to help decorate our house. I was pretty whatever, my wife decided it was ok. We started with the caveats of I didn’t really want her to waste time on my office, that is wasted money since I don’t actually care and I needed a media cabinet

So according to this list, pretty much everything?

I love Bob’s Burgers to death but I honestly don’t know why it’s going to be around for at least 15 seasons. I had assumed it was just going to end with the movie because the series had already gone pretty stale but it just keeps going.

It’s actually amazing to me that anyone cares about the Oscars. I assumed it had been long understood they were pretty much a joke and didn’t award movies based on what general audiences wants to see.

During this time of year I average about 22kW/day in Texas. During the summer I think my average was about 60kW/day.

So when they calculate the price they base it on home charging. Ok, that makes sense I guess. But then they also factor in traveling to charging stations which makes zero sense. You can’t have it both ways.

Yet infinitely more respectable than whatever the Oscars are doing.

Counterpoint— they are shit for things like cast iron pans.

And of course if you dare use your car insurance they will find any reason under the moon to not pay you a cent.

Now playing

Why the crap are people still playing Clue? It was great 75 years ago but board games have evolved _a lot_ since then. By today’s standards it’s pretty bad, a new coat of paint doesn’t really change that.
