Yeah, yeah...Woodstock was awesome. Christ, we get it.

It isn’t technically an HBO show. The BBC produced it. HBO and Studio Canal are  distributing worldwide. It was released in the UK a month ago to rave reviews. Currently has  a 85% rating. This is the third highest rated show on RT from HBO after Big Little Lies and Chernobyl. What “summer bummer”?

FWIW, it’s scoring 75 at Metacritic.

Can’t say I agree with this review at all. I’ve seen all six and I think it’s amazing. It’s not for everyone, as the scale and ambition necessitates some big leaps chronologically and tonally, but it’s like nothing else I’ve seen.

Six-part miniseries; four episodes watched for review

Hooo boy I gotta disagree on this review; sure it’s both silly and utterly terrifying, but I feel like that’s the exact secret elixir that makes this series work. The family feel utterly perfect together, loud and fun and utterly joyfully human, and the world outside is scarier and scarier. It’s fine that the series

Shame, I absolutely adored it on BBC. Russell T. Davies writes in broad strokes, but finds an incredible amount of human depth in these faintly outsize characters. The show’s mad mix of bumbling comedy with the nihilism of its surrounds made them feel all the more human, as they reasonably and ridiculously struggle

And ‘Grace’ is still anonymous while every time Aziz is mentioned in the media this article will be brought up.

I never read babe again after the so-called Aziz Ansari hatchet job. That story was a mess - a poorly considered piece by an unprincipled and crusading editorial staff.

How does the issue of the Aziz article have anything to do with the substance of poorly-defined boundaries at office parties?

You're not an intelligent person and nobody should value the things you have to say.

As somebody who managed to graduate without debt from a combination of family contributions and working roughly 30/hours a week through school—I don’t need any money back. Graduating without debt is its own reward. I’ve been able to take risks (like working low-paying jobs with more flexible schedules, or move to a

Let Republicans do it, because that is literally all they talked about from 2009 to 2016.

No.

See above, how nobody else’s life changes, no matter what. He’s clearly in the moneyed class because that’s beyond white privilege.

Clay: “America really needs to lighten up and not worry about the words comedians use because it’s all we have.”

Thank God two white people can tell me how wrong I am to be offended and that I should just lighten up. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts on privilege.
