I can’t believe the studio let him remake his own crappy film! The characters are neither larger than life nor are they emotionally relatable. Not only is Dark Phoenix a bad movie, it has the gall to be a bland one.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a near-40 year old gay man who loves Taylor Swift’s music. It’s fun and campy. I’m glad she’s growing up and realizing that she has a platform where she can stand up for and with women, POC and the LGBTQ+ community. Get ‘em, girl!

Hate to say it, but D&D made the right decision and maintained a holistic vision for the show’s ending. Excellent direction would have been jarring alongside piddle-poor writing.

Wow, they really downgraded the realism from the previous games, more goofy cartoony moves, the “hut, hut, hut” of the characters jumping is quite comical.

The ending was the only bad thing about it.  Everything up until that point was amazing and scary as fuck. 

But what about when Dan was driving around a small train?

I’m really surprised at how much they’re directly referencing Kubrick’s movie, esp since King famously DISLIKES that adaptation (though he likes it as a piece of cinema on its own).

As much as people say NBC was run by zoo animals in the mid-late ’00s, at least they gave shows like 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, and The Office time to percolate.

Having watched soap operas for years, every time Xo talks about being cancer-free I get a nervous twinge in my stomach.

...but Legends of tommorrow and Agents of Shield are low budget but enjoyable and fun! wheras the high budget Man of Steel was terrible so , maybe that’s not the best comparison to make..

Personally I’ve watched the series since s1e1, sure they might retread over issues, but they are thought provoking issues. Congrats to the actors that play Clarke and Bellamy for there wedding, and this is a strong season to me. So far it’s a great series, pretty interesting mythos, nice reset and I see why it was…
