@LutherNipperkin: I wish I could give this comment more of the props it deserves!

@hfree: LOVED "We Too". It's started me on an unstoppable addiction to historical nonfiction.

@MyNameIsChris: Totally. I think that "thoughtful" is probably the best description. He really thinks about every statement he makes. In a world with pundits and "entertainment journalists" spewing fire just for attention, it's really refreshing. Sometimes it even chokes me up a little that there are still genuine

There aren't many men on this planet (that I don't know personally) that I admire more. Particularly with regard to his eloquence and thoughtfulness. I rarely find a time where I am not in agreement with him over a film.

Um, didn't Gregory Maguire basically take care of this concept already in novel form? Same witch, different pile?

I haven't done much with comedy or theatre, but boy did I get a wealth of opportunities as a bassist in a Celtic-punk band. If you're a good performer in any way, there are people who will want to fuck you. Fact.

B'awwww.

@haus_frau: Spot! You are disrupting my ability to work!

@DramaClub: Hey. Hey. One need not disparage the holy Trek in order to eschew the trappings of nerdiness.

Worst: Basically anything anyone's ever given me that demonstrates that they were buying presents for the sake of buying presents — the ones that demonstrate no real thought whatsoever about the recipient. Scratch lottery tickets are my least favorite gift that I still consistently get. I don't gamble and I don't like

I have an absolute arsenal of cosmetics - I bought a lot of MAC products (probably around $400 or $500 in eyeshadow alone) when I still had a disposable income. I can go utterly all out when I feel like it. I wear makeup maybe two days out of the week, though, because I don't really feel like it that often. So I guess

I hate that because I know I have to go to such an excess of effort in order to be considered as smart/capable/strong/funny/interesting/accomplished as a man who does much less. Particularly because a lot of the stuff I end up doing in my life is considered "domestic".

Like gay marriage, I'm in no way affected if two related people get married. Ick factor or not, it's none of my fucking business.

UGH I LOVE THAT COAT/overfrock. This gal is smokin' in as many ways as possible.
