more like keeping up with the johnsons, AMIRITE?!

A large part of why I ride is the absolute integration of myself and the motorcycle. I have control over EVERYTHING and I enjoy that, so I don’t think a DCT bike will ever be in my future.

Eh, it’s one of those things that wouldn’t affect me either way. It’d be interesting to try for sure, and like you said it would be very weird at first. Another one of those things that would be good for someone with a handicap or injury that prevents riding a normal bike.

No. Just no. If controlling a clutch is beyond your mental ability, you probably shouldn’t have a sports bike any motorcycle. FTFY

I’m looking forward to it. As someone who commutes a lot in stop and go traffic, I really don’t want to be bothered with shifting. I know motorcyclists are a luddite bunch and I am probably the odd duck, but I just see shifting at pointless given current technology.

Stepping away from the legality issue for a movement, the net cost to a super popular music artist (which most artists on the radio would qualify as) of allowing fans who probably can’t afford to buy a record to record their songs when they come on the radio is a lot smaller, relatively speaking, than the cost to a

Just signed up for BeIn Sports on Uverse. Sucks that their coverage seems limited to just the premier race. No Moto 2 or 3 that I can see. The change in network is bound to hurt viewership in the US quite a bit. I’m in central Texas and know a lot of “casual” Moto GP fans due to the race being local. I don’t see many

Will you be posting race results in headlines this year?

I THINK YOU MEAN

Totally disagree that a liter bike is pointless on the street. In fact, I think a strong case can be made that they’re better street cruisers than a 600. I used to love my CBR600RR, but the CONSTANT shifting that you had to do if you wanted that thing to do anything except bog was a pita. Liter bikes don’t have that

I daily a 2012 street triple and it is naked, fast and inspiring enough for me on a daily basis.

Considering the weather, probably sliding through the intersection.

I love this idea, (or blind spot highlight sensors that light up as well) but!

“Look for something with Goretex..”

All well and good but I prefer my rides to be naked when I get on them.

Now playing

At any time, did you find yourself doing this?

Torque at low RPM is pretty much the name of the game in cruisers. It especially doesn’t help your horsepower numbers when you’re low compression and air-cooled. The Vulcan 2000 is only good for about 100 hp, so its not like it’s a Harley-exclusive trait.

V-twins never make much horsepower (yes, some of the Italians do, but look at the amount of engineering and exotic materials they have to put into them), they are effectively rev-limited by piston speed. That 99lb/ft figure is low, but it isn’t massively far from the 105lb/ft that the Ducati 1299 (the most powerful

My wife wears a 3/4 and still headbutts me all the time. Maybe we both just have gigantic heads?
