My sequence is: pull in to space, turn wheels to curb (I live on a hill), engage parking brake, let off regular brake, turn off car, take foot off clutch.

Alternatively, pull your parking brake before you let out the clutch pedal when parking.
This. Torque is at least semi self-aware of its absurdity, while Biker Boyz wants to be taken Very Seriously.
All that is to say that, I agree with you that motorcycle commuting *should* be better...but lawmakers just have no incentive to change laws to make motorcycle usage more mainstream (motorcyclists are seen as punks or whatever, and not as one part of the congestion solution). The AMA focusing all it’s energy on helmet…
DC motorcycle owner here. Commuting on a motorcycle is just as hellish as commuting in a car here, and sometimes even more so in the winter and summer (ever sit in stop-and-go traffic on a motorcycle in 95 degree heat with 70% humidity?). Also, no lane-splitting and drivers that are simply not used to dealing with…
I lament the decline of the manual just as much as the next Jalop, but a POS minivan with a manual is still a POS. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Both Pennywise and Sick of It All released albums since 2016. It’s not much, but it keeps me going...Also, Slipknot and Tool released new albums (which were good, but not particularly political).

Maybe not CP, but the price is too high. I bought a 2015 (also a 6spd) this summer that is CPO and it was like $2.5k cheaper.
I bought a 2015 Golf TDI a few months ago...the warranty and fuel mileage were a plus, but frankly, the Golf TDIs seem to be the best performance/spec/value proposition for getting a manual transmission these days.
Came here just for this.
Look at those destroyers there in the background.
If Ford had made the P-51, maybe I’d find this type of nod charming.
Came here to say this.
I can’t believe I’m defending Swordfish, but I always interpreted that scene as Hugh Jackman being confused by the TVR being right-hand drive rather than being unable to drive stick.
“Individual choices are not going to solve the disaster that we are facing”
So important that we get an AMERICAN company like Apple to build AF1 instead of **checks notes** Boeing...
