I will find any excuse to criticize Scott, but he’s completely right and there’s nothing wrong in saying so. It’s true. And if telling that truth saves even a few lives, then go for it.

While I do agree a lot of people have severe financial difficulties in evacuating, I think it’s very unlikely people are losing their jobs because they fled a hurricane. The state is basically shut down; nobody’s working, businesses aren’t operating, etc. etc..
