Being around like-minded people doesn’t do anything important in terms of concrete goals.

Your argument is illogical. If the person you responded to wants to overthrow the US government, wouldn’t that be harder to do from North Korea?
If it’s under FHA (which is a tossup) then I think they’d be liable as brokers or agents, which I think also defeats the Mrs. Murphy’s exemption; the FHA does apply even for single family houses if you use a broker or salesperson.
State and local antidiscrimination laws are frequently more important in these kinds of cases; like a lot of federal antidiscrimination statutes it sets a floor but state and local governments can pass more stringent protections. Also even if it doesn’t fall under FHA requirements, I think refusing to rent to people…
Oh I didn’t say the movies themselves were boring (or that the actresses necessarily sucked), simply that soooo many French actresses do that same deadpan desolated clinically depressed delivery of their lines.
Significantly cheaper for better accomodations, usually. I think the question is, why stay at a hotel if airbnb is available?
Exactly!!! When I heard that they think she’s a good actress in France it made perfect sense to me. Every French actress delivers every line in every movie in a never-changing clinically depressed monotone.
I don’t get it. For all his odiousness, Trump is one of the few Republicans who actually has called for universal health care.
The decision above was made by a Presidential appointee. Seems like proof that President is an important job.
Involuntary confinement in a state mental hospital is not an “out.”
And vice versa. Where would she be without him?
Well the benefits didn’t just go in one direction here; he did make a ridiculous amount of money during the marriage.
Great news for fans of terrible, terrible music!
On the one hand, I can sympathize; I ran into a guy walking a literal pureblooded wolf through a crowded area the other day, and the poor thing was terrified. Wild animals should remain wild.
Hook seemed like it was written by a committee of middle-aged, coke-snorting Hollywood executives based on focus group responses.
Wow, Hook was so bad. “Joyless” is the perfect adjective. Jumanji I don’t think was QUITE as bad (and the sequel, Zathura, was kind of charming I thought).
I was flipping channels and that came on and for the life of me I couldn’t stop watching.
Heavens forfend! Are you telling me a college student actually smoked the demon reefer?
“I don’t know why it has to have a nickname linking it to Hollywood.”
It doesn’t work both ways. You can’t dismiss without prejudice then yell gotcha when the lawyer re-files; if the judge seriously thought there was no possible way to state a claim, then the judge could have dismissed with prejudice. Happens all the time.
