All the “too soon” people need to fuck right the fuck off. Not your life, not your grief, not your business.

I’m torn on this. Because Kim and Park had supporting roles, not leading roles. And you’d be hard pressed to find supporting actors receiving the same pay as the leads anywhere. That said, I think CBS missed the boat by not putting Daniel Day Kim in either O’Laughlin’s or Caan’s role. This show should have had

Did some Youtube surfing and found this Cavendish crash compilation:

Ridiculous. Obviously, Sagan’s elbow flicks out after Cavendish has already hit Sagan and it’s reflexive, not aggression.

Millions are spent on choreography and around $42.00 on a playback track. You basically pay 200 bucks to watch recording artists dance to their records. Like, an hour of Britney’s mechanical cheerleader moves and I would have to claw my own eyes out. And don’t even get me started on the whole handing the mike off to

I would rather hear a real, human voice every time, no matter how imperfect. Do less dancing, more singing. Take some damn voice lessons to strengthen your voice. Whatever. I don’t go to concerts to see someone mouth words over a track.

The rule, for me, is “don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining.”

Actually it’s the community and fans that often have the “no girls allowed” attitude, which discourages women from wanting to participate. This short video was fairly positive, but in a male-dominated industry like esports, women deal with a LOT of abuse when they try to participate. So while there may not be any

They loaded up the first three rows with people some of whom have been posting photoshops of her for years. I think her response was fairly restrained compared to how I would have reacted if I encountered someone who spent years harassing me online loading up a bunch of seats at a talk to intimidate me.

This is the argument of a mental toddler. By this logic, she should just stay quiet and try to “rise above it,” or some other bullshit.

The official VidCon response to the situations was a well rounded rational one.

You mean the way the right’s goal was pushing a deformed propaganda that demonized Presidents Clinton and Obama and other good people and misleads naive readers to believe things that aren’t true? Kinda the way Fox Noise has been doing for over 20 years?

No. Telling passengers to pray is telling them that you have no control over the situation and no idea how to fix it, and the consequences could be dire. That induces panic. That does not help it. And even if the eventual prayer helped those who believe in prayer, what have you accomplished with the folks who don’t?

a psychological exercise that is proven to deflect panic into channels other than hysteria.

Jesus christ that’s unprofessional. Priority number one is dealing with the issue, not giving passengers a reason to freak the hell out.

But there are no witty christian jokes other than, well, the whole christian thing.

quick, someone get this guy a safe space

Did the pilot suggest which god they pray to? I wonder if the Pilot suggested the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I’m genuinely shocked that an Australian pilot asked people to pray considering Australia is the least religious place I’ve ever lived.
