You simply can’t force people to use voice chat. I understand why you would want that, but there are many legitimate reasons someone might not want to use chat. And Blizzard will never, ever require it.

Because it alters the strategy for the team attacking second, and makes their path to victory substantially easier, even when they’re otherwise pretty evenly matched with the other team.

Whether it’s legit or not isn’t really the question though: is it fun and/or actually engaging gameplay to have a system that allows that to happen?

Yeah, the gaming community has a lot of really toxic members (seemingly increasing in size). A lot with some really severe issues with women. I mean, they have issues with people in general, but if there’s a woman involved it’s like a red flag to a bull.

Another point: after 10 hours of play I can honestly say this is a super overreaction. By and large the animations are serviceable with only a handful of extremely minor NPCs suffering from very poorly done animations.
