Really? Shows you how much I know...

I was pretty surprised to read your comment, as Elodie was in our top 10. (I watched a French movie eons ago with an Elodie character and loved the name.) I've never heard it in the United States, I imagine you are writing from another country? If I'd had a second daughter...she would have been named Elodie.

Maybe if you're wedded to it so to speak you should go ahead anyway. For whatever reason I wasn't dead-set on one name over another, but I can empathize with really wanting to use a particular name.

My original fav was Lucy.

I'd didn't even think of that...Twilight influence?

Or Lisa, Donna, Peggy...

Back in the mid '90s, when I started wanting children, I thought I'd pick Olivia or Isabel, because no one named their children that anymore and it would be cool. Sigh. Had to pick another, as personally I didn't want mine to be the 6th Isabel or Olivia in her class.

ROFL!!!!

*Whispers:* I can't change a tire. I'm not sure I can change the oil on my current car. I have to ask a friend to help me with the pilot light when it goes out.

Well, some of the weight came back on. I'm about what I was before my pregnancy. It was freaky to lose weight that fast. I would put on underwear that fit the week before, start walking, and have it slide off.

OK, I see what you're saying now. I admit I don't pay particular attention to the headlines. Maybe better to say Pregnancy May Fuck up your bones and muscles.

I didn't see any of that intimated in the article. They're simply reporting some statistics.

Why is it sensationalist when it does happen to women? Didn't happen to me, but there are consequences to pregnancy. You'd rather they didn't report it?

My friend's OB-GYN said to her, "think of yourself as a car. Every child will add 100,000 miles."

I have a good friend, she and her husband both travel a lot for work. She enjoys the travel trips. They have 2 children and good babysitters when needed. The kids have traveled all over the place with them too. You'll be fine if you want to go that route.

Thanks, I did not know that.

Yes, there is noooo way I am watching this video.

I'm hoping a lot of the members responsible do not remain in office.

What I'm thinking is Bernanke is waltzing out right before the debt-ceiling shit-storm.

No one's going to read this, but...all I can say is the first time I watched The Shining I was house-sitting and alone. It scared the sh****t out of me.
