i don't like the fact that they reduce fps to do 3d. i don't plan on doing 3d and don't want my non-3d experience to be harmed by their "support" of 3d users.

@ian.g.case: I know. i was just thinking that if i was apple i would be quite happy that there is such demand; demand is good for business.

@OGHowie: agreed. it should be clear that USA is supported first.

@Kaiser-Machead: i am minus one finger and it has only been a day. i can't handle waiting.

@wasting_company_time: working in semiconductor sales i can attest to the horrible component lead times that currently plague the industry.

crap! I hope that there are no errors for the store orders. I walked into an AT&T store in Lawrenceville, GA at 10AM and was only customer in store. Their systems seemed to be working fine.

what's the world cup?

so...what's the catch? can we only edit can combine to make a 30 second clip or what?

moley moley moley moley moley...MOOOLLLEEE!!! guaca—MOLE!!!.... there is a mole on his face. a large blood sucking mole!

does it come in puce?

holy crap!!! that is cool. scary cool.

@Trigle: and these robots will more than likely be made out of the states. more jobs gone. designed in the states you say? probably for year one, then our engineers will be training their indian replacements. gosh, i'm thinking too far ahead.

i am an iphone user, but i sure as heck respect the android os.

@CaffineFreakUs: i just started. i figured if my store bought garlic is growing in my fridge it (semi harsh environment), then it would fare well in my dirt. sure enough it has sprouted and is almost a foot tall.

@Shaun McAlister: agreed. unless it had the same exact internal support structure and weight balance which it just might be easier to do if you had the real thing.

@edosan: yep. that gives me an idea. can do 7"W for cheap. how much would you pay for something like that?

@rabiddachshund: great idea. so the video processing is in the monitor. it would be even cooler if you had a usb 3.0 keyboard with built in lcd for just this purpose.

i was under the assumption that a single USB 3.0 port can provide 3.6W of power (4V @ 900mA). if the display uses 8W, then i could see how two ports would be needed (7.2W total).
