Django Unchained actually does a good job of showing the lunacy of justifying slavery through Phrenology. For my humanities credits in college, I took several courses on the Civil War and the surrounding era. The phrenology articles were always a horrifying read.

Ideally, Roseanne Barr would not be peddling conspiracy theories and overt racism, but sadly she had to ejaculate every vile thought in her head. Somehow, Roseanne will see herself as the victim in all this.

This was a fun show. Like you, I did not start watching until later on in Season 1 (I caught up on Hulu). To me, it was just that show that followed The X-Files and I scoffed when my family told me it was an entertaining show. I wound up abandoning the X-Files for Lucifer and never looked back.

I don’t think the reviewer is trying to demean anything. I personally believe this version of Roseanne is a hollow imitation of the show’s prime years. I also have the same opinion of two other revivals in Will & Grace and The X-Files. Roseanne is one of my favorite shows and I will always watch the reruns, but…

At the time, I did not read much into the movie description of a prescient autistic hulked out assassin that not only predicts the 2016 election, but the future Republican led tax bill. I should’ve listened. I hear that the sequel explains tariffs and predicts the outcome of a global trade war.

That episode also has my second favorite line (the one you have is my favorite). It’s something along the lines of “I’m not sure if this dude really wants to live with me because I’m a monster that burned down her apartment with a vibrator.”

Really? I like living out west. The only restrictions on serving alcohol are between 2:30am and 6:00am Monday through Sunday. I have the basic right to get schlocked at reasonable hours.

Please leave The West Wing in the past. The first four seasons of this show may be my favorite stretch of television ever. Shows like Arrested Development (never watched it) or Twin Peaks (loved it) I understand. They ended prematurely.

I’m actually surprised John Goodman came back. Around 1995-ish, it was a big story that Goodman got fed up with the BS on set and just walked away. They wrote him out of the story for a bit, but it was often rumored that the Roseanne set was very contentious.

How do you mess this up? Isn’t this supposed to be Indiana Jones with a female protagonist? Oh well.
