@person_x - a number of sites will not send to @spamgourmet.com. If you were to ask for emails from the organization I work for, and you provided a [spamgourmet.com] email address, you'd never receive any emails.

@dj_skilz - next year (early?) GApps will replace its funky page creator with a more full-fledged version based on last year's Jotspot acquisition.

@votresivain - In my GAFYD, I have several accounts set up as normal...

Oh. GAFYD doesn't get have Gmail version 2. Or at least I don't. :(

One additional awesome feature... the catch-all. In addition to creating accounts, you can create a "catch-all" for all email to your domain at doesn't match one of the accounts you established.

I like Urban Ride's idea. If you have to write them down, only write down part of them. I'd also suggest writing down a lot of fake ones on the same piece of paper ones, labeling none and also not including usernames.

So not fair. I'd just be happy to get the new Gmail. I'm being punished for using Google Apps for My Domain.

One just doesn't cut it for me. Firefox opens up a number of tabs for me (GmailApps, GCalendar, Joe's Goals, Remember the Milk, Flickaday, GReader and Cntl-Alt-Del)

Another feature I like is that you can transfer calls from one phone to another. I have yet to use it, but I have the GC number going to my cell, my blackberry and my cell. If I get a call at my desk and then want to leave, I can transfer the call to my cell and walk away from the desk.

I do walk at lunch, often with one or more colleagues. And there's another who calls me when she gets stressed and we do a quick lap around the building (we're blessed with a woodsy campus with trails).

I have had a Yahoo! account, had it for years. I sign in weekly. It gets 500 spam in the Spam folder and 15 more in the inbox. And I don't give out the address.

Spring for the extra laptop power cord which you can keep in your GO bag or laptop case. No need to constantly be climbing under stuff to plug in and unplug.

Beautiful! Thank you for pointing me to this. There are plenty of stuff that I've wanted to label but I didn't want to add any more labels to my already cluttered labels list. This was my biggest wish for Gmail. I'll be installing it on all my computers today!

Oh - or invisible labels. They don't show up on the label list unless there's unread mail in them.

I want labels and folders and subfolders. But stinking folders need to be much higher on the screen.

@kubota - you're missing the point. LH is stuff designed to make our lives easier, quicker, more intelligent. If that was a joke, then it fails the very easy "Don't make me think." rule. If it were a joke, it would have been labelled as such.

Personally? I hate 'em emails that simply say "Thanks."

Actually, this trick is even cooler with Google Apps for your Domain. I have "catchall@mydomain.com" and "myfirstname@mydomain.com"

Doesn't ING require you to keep an account elsewhere as well?

Like others have said - in SMS, it's not necessary.
